A small colection of images from a recent lobbying event held by the Nature Friendly Farming Networking up on the hill in Parliament Buidlings Stormont. I regularly work in the Long Gallery and I'm always amazed at the variety of charties, businesses and coalitions that hold events here.
The Long Gallery by its name, is long. Long rooms are quite tricky to photograph due to lack of width. This means you can't easily hide off camera lights. These are needed to light the long and narrow room evenly to avoid dark backgrounds.
This is maybe overkill but I really like evenly lit spaces and try to avoid dark spots in my event photos.
This event shoot finished up with some headshots and group pictures towards the bottom of this album.
